WARDROBE CLEANING

I loved playing sports as a child. Unfortunately, I also loved shoes, so you can imagine how my footwear would end up after a good match.

When a few pairs got destroyed in a month, my mum forbade me to play soccer without my trainers.

It is very significant that when you look back through the history of fashion, women’s clothing has predominantly been impractical and uncomfortable.

Bustles, heels, crinolines and, in recent years, tube skirts and tight dresses, turned the feminine figure into another static object, blocking us from carrying out activities that were considered unlady-like.

Fashion played a big part in limiting women’s liberties and rights since the beginnings of time so now we need to upgrade our wardrobe. We have been locked in and controlled, displayed as beautiful decorative objects, and deprived of our own actions and movements.

Even if they are slow, some movements are unstoppable, and in our fight, just like our ancestors did, we will tear the ropes of those that wanted us to be quiet.
